Horisont 2020 infopäev “Kliimameetmed, keskkond, ressursitõhusus ja toorained”

Euroopa Komisjon korraldab infopäeva, et esitada 2017. aasta taotlusvoore Horisont 2020 Ühiskonnaprobleemid 5 valdkonnas “Kliimameetmed, keskkond, ressursitõhusus ja toorained”. Euroopa Liidu Charlemagne’i hoones toimuvale üritusele on oodatud esindajad teaduskogukonnast, äri- ja avalikust sektorist.

Horizon 2020 Information Day: Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency & Raw Materials
The European Commission is organising an Information Day to present the 2017 calls for proposals of Horizon 2020’s Societal Challenge 5 “Climate Action, Environment, Resource Efficiency and Raw Materials”.
Representatives of the research community, business, and public authorities are invited to join the event on Wednesday, 14 September 2016 in the European Commission’s Charlemagne building.

Horisont 2020 infopäev “Energiatõhusus”

Energy Efficiency Call for Proposals 2017 Info Day
This year we have structured the content of the Info Day in 8 different sessions, each one providing several networking opportunities as well as the possibility to learn from successful projects.
This year’s Information Day will update you on the European Energy Efficiency policy; present you the Energy Efficiency priorities of the H2020 Energy Efficiency 2017 calls for proposals; provide you guidance on how to apply for funding etc. More than 700 participants coming from SME associations, businesses, European and national trade associations, chambers of commerce, European institutions, universities, financial institutions, etc. are expected.

The European Science Cloud: Getting from idea to action
In May 2015, European research ministers agreed to forge ahead with an ambitious project to develop a “science cloud” – an online resource interlinking scientific data, results, and researchers across the EU. The need is clear: The more data-intensive science becomes, the more important it becomes to share that data more efficiently – and that requires new networking and software tools.
But how will this happen? At what cost? Who will use it – and, Internet companies ask, who will help build and run it? How can it be made safe from hacking or privacy invasion? These are among the questions that this Science|Business Network event will examine with experts on the topic from academia, industry and the policy world.

BIEE Oxfordi teaduskonverents “ Innovatsioon ja murrang: üleminek energiasektoris”

Briti energiamajanduse instituut (BIEE) korraldab Oxfordis kahepäevase teaduskonverentsi, mille eesmärgiks on mõista positiivseid ja negatiivseid muutuste põhjustajaid energiasektoris.
Üritus on suunatud igasuguse taustaga energiaanalüütikutele, teadlastele, strateegilistele ja poliitilistele mõtlejatele, k.a. tööstussektor, ülikoolid, teadusasutused, valitsus, finantssektor, valitsusvälised organisatsioonid ja konsultatsioonifirmad.

BIEE Oxford ‘Innovation and Disruption: the energy sector in transition’
The British Institute of Energy Economics (BIEE) Oxford conference is a two day research conference that seeks to understand the drivers of change in energy, both positive and negative.
The conference is aimed at energy analysts, researchers, strategy and policy thinkers from all backgrounds, including industry, academia, research organisations, government, the finance community, NGOs and consultancies.

Horisont 2020 infopäev “Arukad linnad ja kogukonnad”

Infopäev on suunatud 2016-2017 Horisont 2020 valdkondadevaheliste meetmete tööprogrammi arukate linnade ja kogukondade teema potentsiaalsetele taotlejatele, eriti just 2017. aasta taotlusvoorule.
Ettekanded hõlmavad taotlusvooru sisulist ja menetluslikku külge. Päeva teises pooles toimub võrgustiku üritus.

2016 Information Day on the Horizon 2020 ‘Smart cities and communities’
The event targets potential applicants to the Smart Cities & Communities topic of the 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 Work Programme ‘Cross-cutting activities’, and in particular the 2017 call.
Presentations will cover the call content and the application procedure. More information and the agenda will follow.
A networking event will take place in the second part of the day.

Horisont 2020 infopäev “Tark, keskkonnahoidlik ja integreeritud transport”
28.09.16 Brüssel, Belgia
Infopäev on suunatud potentsiaalsetele Horisont 2020 valdkonna “Tark, keskkonnahoidlik ja integreeritud transport” taotlejatele. Ettekanded käsitlevad taotluse menetlusprotsesse, taotlusvoorude teemasid ja muud detailset informatsiooni. Pärastlõunal toimub partnerlusüritus.

2016 Information Day on the Horizon 2020 ‘Smart, green and integrated transport’
The information day addresses potential applicants to the Horizon 2020 ‘Smart, green and integrated transport’ calls for project proposals under the 2016-2017 Work programme.
Presentations will cover the various topics open for submission and the application procedure, as well as provide detailed information on the calls.  A brokerage event will take place in the afternoon.

2. rahvusvaheline konverents valitsuse teaduslikust nõustamisest
29.-30.09.16 Brüssel, Belgia
Euroopa Komisjon ja rahvusvahelise valitsuse teadusliku nõustamise võrgustik (INGSA) korraldavad kahepäevase konverentsi Euroopa Komisjoni Charlemagne’i hoones, mis toob kokku kriitiliste, globaalsete teemadega seotud teadusliku nõustamise tarbijad ja pakkujad. Poliitikakujundajad, juhtivad erialatöötajad, teadlased ja teised sidusrühmad, kes tegelevad valitsusele pakutava teadusliku nõustamise valdkonnaga, uurivad põhimõtteid ja tavasid erinevates praegustes ja keerulistes poliitika kontekstides. Rahvusvahelisele kogukonnale esitatakse ka Komisjoni Teaduslikku nõuandvat mehhanismi. Konverentsi eesmärk on astuda suur samm selle poole, et vastata Maailma teadusfoorumi 2015. aasta deklaratsioonis esitatud väljakutsele.

2nd International Conference on Science Advice to Government
The International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA) and the European Commission will hold the 2nd International Conference on Science Advice to Government in Brussels, Belgium on 29-30 September 2016.
Jointly organised by the European Commission and the International Network for Government Science Advice (INGSA), the conference will bring together users and providers of scientific advice on critical, global issues. Policy-makers, leading practitioners and scholars in the field of science advice to governments, as well as other stakeholders, will explore principles and practices in a variety of current and challenging policy contexts. It will also present the new Scientific Advice Mechanism of the European Commission to the international community. Through keynote lectures and plenary discussions and topical parallel sessions, the conference aims to take a major step towards responding to the challenge best articulated by the World Science Forum Declaration of 2015.

Horisont 2020 partnerlusüritus “Tuleviku linnad”

“Tuleviku linnad” on rahvusvaheline partnerlusüritus, mis toob kokku 300 teadlast, tööstussektori spetsialisti, riigiametnikku ja poliitikuid Euroopast ja Türgist.
Üritus on suunatud järgnevatele Horisont 2020 taotlusvoorudele: “Arukad ja säästvad linnad”, “Energiatõhusad hooned”, “Tuleviku tehased”, “Säästvatele protsessidele tuginevad tööstusvaldkonnad”, “Ringmajandus” ja “Euroopa energiasäästlike sõidukite algatus”.
“Tuleviku linnad” üritus hõlmab linnade üldise energia- ja ressursitõhususe tugevat majanduslikku, sotsiaalset ja keskkonnamõju, mille tulemuseks on parem elukvaliteet.
Üritus pakub ainulaadset võimalust luua kontakte mitte ainult Türgi ja Euroopa teadlastega, vaid ka kõrgelt kvalifitseeritud teadusuuringutes osalevate väikeste ja keskmise suurusega ettevõtetega (VKEd). Seetõttu pakub üritus suurepärast platvormi laiendada võrgustikku ja luua uusi partnerlussuhteid järgmisteks Horisont 2020 taotlusvoorudeks.

“CITIES of the FUTURE-H2020” International Brokerage Event
The “Cities of the Future 2016” Brokerage Event will bring together 300 researchers, industry professionals, government officials and policy makers from Europe and Turkey.
The event will target the following H2020 calls: -‘Smart and Sustainable Cities’ and ‘Energy Efficient Buildings’ – ‘Factories of The Future’ – ‘Sustainable Process Industries’ and ‘Circular Economy’ – ‘The European Green Vehicles Initiative’.
“Cities of the Future 2016” is meant as a wider concept that encompasses cities’ overall energy and resource efficiency with profound economic, social and environmental impacts, resulting in a better quality of life.
This event provides a unique opportunity to connect not only with Turkish and European researchers but also with highly qualified research-performing SMEs, making this event an excellent platform to expand networks and create new partnerships for the upcoming calls in Horizon 2020.

Horisont 2020 infopäev “Arukad elektrivõrgud ja energia salvestamine”

Infopäev on suunatud arukate elektrivõrkude ja energia salvestamise projektide taotlusvooru potentsiaalsetele taotlejatele. Projekte rahastatakse Horisont 2020 “Turvalise, puhta ja tõhusa energia” 2016-2017 tööprogrammi raames.

2016 Info Day on Horizon 2020 ‘Smart Grids and Storage’
The event targets potential applicants to the calls for ‘Smart Grids and Storage’ projects, which will be funded under the 2016-2017 Horizon 2020 Work programme ‘Secure, clean and efficient energy’, and in particular under the ‘Competitive low-carbon energy’ (LCE) call (topics: LCE-01-2016-2017, LCE-04-2017 and LCE-05-2017).

Iga-aastane konverents “Vee füüsika, keemia ja bioloogia”

150 inimest mahutav veeteemaline konverents “Vee füüsika, keemia ja bioloogia” peetakse 2016. aastal Sofias, kuhu oodatakse esindajaid ülikoolidest, kaubandusettevõtetest ja mujalt.

Annual conference on “Physics, Chemistry and Biology of Water”
11th Annual Water Сonference will be held on October 6st – 9th 2016, at the Government Congress Center, Sofia, Bulgaria. The number of participants – 150 people maximum.

Konverents “Teadusstrateegiad: Euroopa 2030 ja järgmine raamprogramm”

Science Business korraldab konverentsi, et arutada ettevõtete, ülikoolide ja valitsuse tuleviku strateegiaid teadus- ja arendustegevuses. Arutatakse Brexiti mõju teadusuuringute strateegiatele avalikus ja erasektoris; Euroopa Komisjoni värskete tulevikustsenaariumide mõju ettevõtetele, ülikoolidele ja valitsustele; ning soovitusi, kuidas EL peaks tuleviku teadusuuringute ja innovatsiooni programme kujundama.

Research Strategies: Europe 2030 and the next Framework Programme
A dialogue to plan corporate, academic and government R&D strategies for the future.
Research strategy is the focus of this Science|Business Network conference. It will bring together a select group of corporate executives, university administrators and policy leaders from all over Europe and from all sectors/disciplines to:          

• Debate how will Brexit – who’s ‘in’ and who’s ‘out’? – affect research strategies, for the public and private sector?       
• Discuss among peers the Commission’s newly prepared scenarios for the future.       
• Analyse how they will affect R&D strategies of companies, universities and governments.    
• Deliver recommendations on how the EU should shape its own R&I programmes for the future.

Horisont 2020 infopäev “Teadusuuringute avaliku ja erasektori partnerlused”

Ürituse eesmärk on anda teadusringkonnale ülevaade järgmiste avaliku ja erasektori partnerluste tegevustest: tulevikutehaste, energiatõhusate hoonete, säästvatele protsessidele tuginevate tööstuste ja Euroopa nn roheliste sõidukite algatused. Pakutakse ka tuge 2017. aasta konkursidele taotluse ettevalmistamiseks.
Üritust on võimalik jälgida veebi vahendusel ning seda salvestatakse. Pärast üritust avaldatakse kõik ettekanded ja salvestused ürituse lehel.

Horizon 2020 Information Day on the Research Public-Private Partnerships
The aim of the event is to give the research community an overview of ongoing activities in the following PPPs: Factories of the Future, Energy-efficient Buildings, Sustainable Process Industry and European Green Vehicles Initiative.
Support will be given for the preparation of proposals for the 2017 calls.
The event will be web streamed and recorded. After the event, all presentations and links to the recordings will be published on this page.

Euroopa klastrite konverents
30.11.-02.12.16 Brüssel, Belgia
Tänavune konverents keskendub klastritele 4.0 – tarkade tööstusharude kujundamine. Üritus sisaldab kõrgetasemelisi paneeldiskussioone ning interaktiivseid sessioone, kus osalejatel on võimalus jagada oma kogemusi ja väljakutseid. Paralleeldiskussioonid keskenduvad 4 tööstuse moderniseerimisega seotud peamisele teemale: arukas tootmine ja digitaalne transformatsioon; ringmajandus; progressi võimaldavad tehnoloogiad; loovad ja andmetele orienteeritud teenused.
Enne konverentsi, 30. novembril, toimub Euroopa klastrite partnerlusüritus.

European Cluster Conference 2016
This year’s conference will focus on Cluster 4.0 – Shaping Smart Industries and include high-level plenary speeches, panel discussions and interactive sessions where participants will have the chance to share their experiences and challenges. Parallel discussions will take place in 4 priority areas related to industrial modernisation, namely: smart manufacturing and digital transformation; the circular economy; key enabling technologies; creative and data-driven services.
The parallel discussions will all cover the same key horizontal topics in different sessions. These include the role of clusters in boosting the innovation uptake and growth opportunities through strengthening cross-sectoral value chain linkages, strategic European partnering, international collaboration and skills towards shaping smart industries.
To kick off the conference the European Cluster Collaboration Platform is organising a  large-scale European cluster matchmaking event on 30 November 2016. This will be a unique opportunity for European Clusters to explore common areas of interest for cooperation and build complementarities in terms of sectoral, value chain and market focus.

Konverentsi eesmärk on välja selgitada ja arendada parimad uued teoreetilised ja rakenduslikud uuringud avatud innovatsioonis. Konverents toob kokku avatud innovatsiooni ruumi tunnustatud akadeemikud, juhtivad ettevõtted ja innovaatorid. Konverentsile saabunud parimad tööd avaldatakse R&D Management journal’i erinumbris.

The 3rd Annual World Open Innovation Conference – Open Innovation in the Digital Age
The 3rd annual World Open Innovation Conference (WOIC) will help identify and develop the best new theoretical and applied research in open innovation. The conference co-hosted with ESADE in Barcelona, Spain, brings together renowned academic scholars, leading companies and innovators in the Open Innovation space.  R&D Management has agreed to provide a Special Issue comprised of the best papers submitted to the conference.

Kõrgetasemelise rahvusvahelise konverentsi eesmärk on parandada nähtavust ja toetust keskkonnasäästlikule majandusele ning teha kindlaks poliitilised valikud ja prioriteedid, sealhulgas edasised tegevused. Üritusele on oodatud eksperdid, ELi kõrgemad ametnikud, rahvusvahelised organisatsioonid, ülikoolid, teadlased, ärisektor ja kodanikuühiskond. Peamised aruteluteemad on teadusuuringute ja innovatsiooni roll ülemineku kiirendamisel ning takistused, mis esinevad teadlastel ja innovaatoritel, kui nad arendavad ja rakendavad innovaatilisi lahendusi.

T2gE – Transition to the Green Economy
This high-level international conference will be an event of major strategic nature, with the participation of a broad spectrum of stakeholders and expected 500+ participants.
With this event the Ministry aims to attract the attention of experts, politicians, senior EU officials, international organisations, universities, research and science experts, the business sector and civil society and to create a space for informed discussion of the key questions on the transition to a green economy. The focus of the discussions will be on actions of key stakeholders, including financial and investments actors, supporting transition to the green economy. One of the main discussion sessions will be aimed at the role of research and innovation  in  accelerating such a transition, the issues of a demand to the community of researchers and innovators, the obstacles that researchers and innovators meet when developing and deploying innovative solutions,  including their implementation in a real life.

IKT taotlejate päev 2016

Info- ja kommunikatsioonitehnoloogia (IKT) taotlejate päev 2016 on võrgustikuüritus, mis edendab Euroopa IKT teadusuuringuid ja innovatsiooni ning keskendub IKT teemale Horisont 2020 2016-2017 tööprogrammis. Üritus on osa Bratislavas toimuvast digitaalnädalast. Üritus pakub unikaalset võimalust luua partnerlusi õppejõududega, teadlastega, tööstuse sidusrühmadega, väikese ja keskmise suurusega ettevõtetega ja valitsusega üle kogu Euroopa.

ICT Proposers’ Day 2016
ICT Proposers’ day 2106 in Bratislava, Slovakia on 26 and 27 September is a networking event promoting European ICT Research & Innovation and focusing on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme for 2016-17.
ICT Proposers’ Day 2016 is organised on Monday & Tuesday the 26-27 September 2016, as part of Digital Week in Bratislava.
The event will focus on the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016-17 in the field of Information & Communication Technologies. It will offer a unique and exceptional opportunity to build quality partnerships with academics, researchers, industrial stakeholders, SMEs and government actors from all over Europe.

Bratislava biomajanduse konverents
17.10.16 Bratislava, Slovakkia
Slovakkia eesistumine korraldab koostöös Euroopa Komisjoniga konverentsi Euroopa piirkondlikust rollist jätkusuutliku Euroopa biomajanduse arendamises. Konverentsi eesmärk on arutada riiklike ja piirkondlike sidusrühmadega uut biomajanduse konteksti põllumajanduses, metsanduses ja kalanduses, teadusuuringute ja innovatsiooni rolli ühiskondlike probleemide lahendamisel ning teha kindlaks piirkondades esinevad takistused biomajanduse strateegia kohandamisel. Konverentsil arutatakse ka, kuidas piirkonnad saavad kasutada ka teisi ELi instrumente ja algatusi peale Horisont 2020, et toetada piirkondlikke biomajanduse klastreid, nt Euroopa struktuuri- ja investeerimisfondid (ESIF) ja aruka spetsialiseerumise strateegiad (RIS3).

Bratislava Bioeconomy conference
The Slovak Presidency together with European Commission under the auspices of Standing Committee of Agricultural Research (SCAR) will organise a conference on the role of EU regions in developing a sustainable European Bioeconomy. The aim of the conference is to discuss with national and regional stakeholders the new bioeconomy context for the agriculture, forestry and fisheries, the role of research and innovation to overcome the big societal challenges ahead of us and also to identify the barriers in the regions in adapting the bioeconomy strategy. The conference will also discuss how regions can benefit from relevant EU instruments and initiatives that can support regional bioeconomy clusters beside the Horizon 2020, such as the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) and smart specialisation strategies (RIS3).

Euroopa Liidu reindustrialiseerimine 2016
26.-28.10.16 Bratislava, Slovakkia
REinEU2016 on rahvusvaheline konverents, kuhu oodatakse esindajaid teaduse ja innovatsiooni kogukondadest ning ärisektorist, et arutada teemasid nagu nanotehnoloogiad, kõrgtehnoloogilised materjalid, tootmistehnoloogiad, biotehnoloogiad. Ürituse raames korraldatakse partnerlusüritusi, postrite sessioone,  külastusi Bratislavas, töökodasid, võistlusi. Üritus annab unikaalse võimaluse Slovakkiale kui uuele ELi liikmesriigile tutvustada Horisont 2020 taotlusvoorude kohalikku perspektiivi.

Re-Industrialisation of the European Union 2016
Hundreds of representatives from European and international research, innovation communities, and the business sector will meet to discuss this topic during a prestigious event in the field of nanotechnologies, advanced materials, manufacturing and production technologies, biotechnology – the International Conference REinEU2016.
REinEU2016 will be financed through the Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (NMBP) and will include matchmaking events, poster sessions, site visits around Bratislava, workshops and competitions. It represents a unique opportunity for Slovakia as one of the new EU Member states to present its local perspective on the Horizon 2020 calls, which will open in mid-2016, and present solutions tailored to these countries.
